    • A SHELL FOR LIFE

    We’ve been working on our natural deodorant for years, knowing that if we made one, it had to be done properly. Something you use every day shouldn’t come with compromises. Over the past year, we’ve seen plenty of refillable deodorants appear, but most are still made with virgin plastics. A step forward, yes, but not far enough. We set out to create something better: a deodorant designed to last, with as few breakable parts as possible, and a shell that’s fully recyclable without losing any of its value.

    • THE DESIGN

      The Shell is built from a single material: aluminium. No plastic, no compromises. Most deodorant packaging relies on complex twisting mechanisms; systems that only work if made from plastic. We chose a simpler, smarter route. By designing an internal step that holds the refill in place, the deodorant can be pushed up by hand. The result? A three part design that’s minimal, durable, and so far as we know - the first of its kind.

    • FORMULATION

      Creating a 100% natural balm, packed with organic-certified ingredients, was non-negotiable for us. Too many deodorants still rely on harsh chemicals and aluminium salts; ingredients that block pores and interfere with how your body naturally works. Sweating isn’t something to hide; it’s how your body releases toxins and supports a healthy immune system. That’s why we left aluminium out of our formula and used it where it makes sense instead: in the Shell.

      We’ve got 3 great smelling fragrances with natural essential oils, packed full of premium natural ingredients that stop the growth of odour-causing bacteria and keep your armpits smooth and moisturised.

    METALWORK

    We designed the case to last and to be infinitely recyclable if the time ever comes. Aluminium was the obvious choice. It’s one of the most recyclable materials on earth, able to be remade again and again without losing quality. Unlike plastics, which get downgraded with every cycle, aluminium keeps its value. In fact, over 75% of all aluminium ever produced is still in use today. Compare that with plastic, where only 9% has ever been recycled. The difference speaks for itself.

    ANODISING

    For colouring, we chose anodising - the same process used to protect satellites in space. It strengthens and seals the aluminium, extending the life of the case, while also being one of the most sustainable finishing methods available. Unlike most metal treatments, anodising is water-based, creates no hazardous waste, and uses no volatile organic compounds. And, beyond its performance, we love the clean, refined look it gives each case.

    ENGRAVING

    For finishing, we chose laser engraving. It’s fast, efficient, and uses surprisingly little energy. The process avoids inks and dyes, many of which can harm local water systems, and it keeps the aluminium pure for easier recycling. The result is a subtle mark: a logo cut back to the raw aluminium, a reminder of the material at the heart of the product.
